Floor Soundproofing

Create Quiet, Comfortable Spaces with Floor Soundproofing

Floor soundproofing is an engineered solution designed to eliminate impact noise transmitted to lower floors while optimizing interior acoustic quality. Footsteps, dragging furniture, and dropped objects generate structural vibrations that travel easily through building slabs. As both manufacturer and installer, we deploy high-performance under-screed rolls, EPDM barriers, acoustic membranes, and elastomeric damping mats to neutralize noise directly at the floor level.

Our floor soundproofing systems are widely applied across residential apartments, commercial offices, and recording studios to isolate foot traffic and contain structure-borne sound paths.

Key Benefits

  • Stop Impact Noise Downstairs: Eliminates footsteps, dropped objects, and furniture scraping sounds.

  • Vibration Isolation: Decouples the structural slab to stop sound waves from traveling through walls and floors.

  • Direct Manufacturer & Installer Advantage: Factory-tested acoustic materials installed seamlessly by certified technicians.

How We Install Floor Soundproofing

Effective floor soundproofing relies on building a decoupled “floating floor” system that breaks structural contact:

  1. Surface Preparation: We strip existing floor finishes and clean the subfloor to create a level, debris-free base.

  2. Acoustic Underlayment & Membranes: We roll out high-density under-screed impact insulation rolls or acoustic membranes directly onto the structural slab.

  3. Barrier Reinforcement: For high-traffic or studio environments, we integrate high-mass EPDM sound barriers or rubber sheets to block airborne sound transmission.

  4. Perimeter Isolation & Screed: We install edge insulation strips along all wall boundaries to prevent acoustic bridging, then pour the screed layer and lay final flooring finishes.

Materials We Manufacture & Install

We produce and install certified floor insulation materials engineered for durability, compressive strength, and high Impact Insulation Class (IIC) performance:

  • Under-Screed Impact Rolls: High-elasticity underlayment rolls designed to absorb heavy footfalls and mechanical impact.

  • EPDM Sound Barriers & Acoustic Membranes: High-mass viscoelastic membranes providing airborne sound attenuation.

  • Elastomeric Rubber Sheets: Resilient mats engineered to dampen severe structural vibrations.

  • Floating Floor Acoustic Pads & High-Density Rock Wool: High-load core materials used beneath floating slabs for maximum acoustic decoupling.
