Evapan

Evapan – Impact Sound & Vibration Insulation Panel

Evapan is a high-performance acoustic insulation system specifically engineered to prevent impact noise, footfall sound, and structural vibrations across building surfaces. It provides superior acoustic decoupling and sound dampening, making it an essential solution for multi-story residential buildings, commercial offices, healthcare facilities, fitness centers, and industrial facilities where noise control is critical.

Designed for versatile multi-surface applications, Evapan can be installed across floors, walls, and ceilings. It effectively isolates airborne noise while eliminating structure-borne sound transmission. Manufactured from high-density, durable, and resilient materials, Evapan offers long-lasting performance without losing elasticity or compressive strength over time. Its lightweight, flexible structure adapts seamlessly to different building assemblies, creating quieter and acoustically comfortable living and working spaces.

Where and How Is Evapan Applied?

Evapan delivers high-efficiency soundproofing across all critical building envelopes through a systematic installation process:

  1. Surface Inspection & Acoustic Assessment:

The target area (floor, wall, or ceiling) is inspected to identify dominant noise sources (impact noise, footfall, or airborne vibrations) and project-specific dB reduction targets.

  2. Substrate Preparation:

Application surfaces must be clean, dry, and level to ensure complete surface contact and acoustic decoupling.

  3. Multi-Surface Installation:

    • Under Flooring (Floors & Screeds): Applied under screed (floating floor), parquet, ceramic tiles, or laminate to absorb footfall noise and prevent vibrations from traveling between floors.

    • Wall Partitions: Applied behind gypsum boards or between partition wall profiles to prevent direct mechanical bridging and flanking noise.

    • Ceilings: Integrated into suspended ceiling systems to block impact noise originating from upper floors.

Key Features & Benefits of Evapan

    • Superior Impact Noise Reduction ($\Delta L_w$): Effectively absorbs footfall noise, mechanical vibrations, and structural shockwaves before they penetrate building assemblies.

    • Versatile Multi-Surface Application: Suitable for under-screed floors, under-flooring underlayment, dry-wall partitions, and suspended ceiling assemblies.

    • Dual Acoustic Action: Blocks structure-borne impact noise while significantly contributing to overall airborne sound insulation ($R_w$).

    • High Compressive Strength & Durability: Retains its acoustic elasticity and load-bearing properties under heavy foot traffic and structural screed loads without sagging or deteriorating.

    • Vibration Isolation: Decouples rigid building elements (walls, floors, slabs), effectively eliminating acoustic bridging and flanking transmission.

    • Quick & Clean Installation: Easy to cut, handle, and install on-site, providing contractors and builders with practical and labor-efficient acoustic compliance.
